Customer Qualification:

Customers must be over 21 years of age and under 76 and must have held a full driving licence, free from endorsements (at the discretion of the company) for a minimum of  1 or 2 years.  Between ages 70 to 75 special conditions apply please enquire.

Age limitations:

Customers under the age of 25 are not permitted to hire People Carriers or Mini Buses.

Identification and Driving Licence Requirements:

From 8th June 2015, all customers will be required to produce a print out of their Driving Licence Summary. To do this go online to http://gov.uk/dvla then click on “view driving licence information” Scroll down and click on the green  “View Now” button.

Enter your details as requested, your Driving Licence no, National Insurance number and postcode. This will generate details of your driving licence. Please print this and bring it with you when collecting your vehicle.

If you are unable, for any reason, to print this information then please make a note of the ‘Check Code’ and bring this with you together with your driving licence and your National Insurance number.

(Please note the ‘Check Code’ is only valid for 72 hours so please do not print this out prior to 72 hours before your hire date.) Many thanks.

New customers will, in addition, be required to produce two other means of identification that gives proof of their current address.

Dartford Crossing:

PLEASE DO NOT PAY if using the Dartford Crossing in one of our hire vehicles. Our cars and vans are tagged and automatically charged. Any such fee will be charged to you upon completion of your hire period.

Non Smoking:

All of our vehicles are non-smoking. We request that clients do not smoke inside the vehicles, as smoking odours and/or cigarette burns are subject to penalties of a minimum £250.00

Vehicle Damage:

A £100 deposit (£250 for Buses and for drivers under the age of 25) will be required in addition to the cost of hire of the vehicle. The amount is refundable if the vehicle is returned as per the hire agreement return time and in the same condition as the vehicle was taken.

Payment is required before commencement of the hire period.

Continental Hire:

If you are travelling abroad you will need AA 5-star cover and a Green Card insurance, vehicles must not be taken outside the UK without the written consent of Pierremonts. We are pleased to offer a quotation to cover your continental hire requirements.

Important Information:

Whilst it is our intention to offer the services as advertised, Pierremonts reserves the right to alter prices, vehicle availability and supply in circumstances that are beyond our control.

Pierremonts reserves the right to refuse any hire request without giving any reason.
